Senior School Update

This term in week 4, our Year 10 students will have the opportunity to participate in Careers Week. They will engage in a range of activities which will support matching pathways. This work will continue in the home group program.

Our Year 11s are currently working on their first semester of SACE subjects. Year 11 exams will begin on Friday 16 June, week 7 and continue during week 8. Further information regarding the exams, including a detailed timetable will be emailed to families shortly.

For Year 11 students, English, Maths and the Research Project are compulsory subjects, for which students must achieve a C– or higher grade.  For all subjects, our young people need to complete the summative tasks and meet the performance standards for their subjects. This will ensure they achieve the maximum number of SACE credits and are best placed to select Year 12 subjects for 2023.

Given that we are nearly a third of the way into the Year 12 school year, our young people are encouraged to work with their teachers to ensure they are maximizing their learning outcomes.  There can be times during this final year of school during which the workload and rigor can be overwhelming.
