Meet the Senior School Team:

Having built on the foundations in the middle school our students in the Senior School are encouraged to embrace all opportunities and experiences on offer at Brighton Secondary School in order to become caring and responsible global citizens.

As Head of Senior School, I am responsible for leading our Senior School team to connect with our young people and their families to create meaningful pathways for all students.

My role is to lead a Senior School which creates authentic learning experiences for all young people so that they thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Janine McSporran, Head of Senior School

As Year 10 Year Level Leader, I look forward to supporting young people as they transition from the Middle School to Senior School. Through this transition, I support and work with young people to begin focusing on career development, and pathways. As a member of the Senior School Team, our team focusses on developing life skills for young people so that they are successful academically, socially, and emotionally.

I am excited about what the year will bring for the Year 11 cohort and I look forward to a thriving success.

My role as Year 12 Leader affords me the opportunity to actively support and mentor the ‘Class of 2024’ towards attaining success and ultimately their personal best in the journey towards SACE achievement. My purpose is to lead with intention to ensure that all young people in this cohort develop a culture of achievement as they undertake the challenges of their final year of schooling. I look forward to supporting and adequately preparing our young people to successfully meet the demands of life beyond school.
