Middle School Update

It was great to see our middle school students after the holiday break at our ‘Welcome Back’ assemblies throughout Week 1. The students received information about term 2 events and our Student Wellbeing Leaders presented information on the Department for Education’s Wellbeing and Engagement Collection survey that students completed last week.

It was also positive to have a large number of parents and students engage with our Parent/Student/Teacher Conversations in Week 1. Connection with families is an important way in which we support student learning in each year level.

Mobile Phone and Personal Device Policy

Our middle school students have adapted extremely well to the new policy, and as a result, there has been considerable increase in students engaging in physical activity, in clubs and activities and spending time with their peers during break times.

We will continue to support our middle school students to engage positively with the new policy as the year continues.

Semester 2 Timetables

Middle school students will soon receive their semester 2 timetables, which will include their updated elective subjects. A further communication will be distributed to parents in the coming days, outlining the process for any student that has issues with their timetable.

The new semester begins on Monday Week 9, 26 June.
