Positive Behaviour for Learning
Our behaviour support policy is underpinned by a restorative practice and positive behaviour for learning approach, in line with the Department for Education’s guidelines.
Our Steps for Success framework outlines how we will respond to behaviours at various levels. We emphasise developing relationships and clearly outlining expected behaviours as a proactive approach to establishing positive and safe learning environments. When things go wrong, we focus on responding to behaviours of concern visibly and fairly, and in a way that repairs and restores relationships of those involved.
