Starting Secondary School in 2023

Our next cohort of  year 7 students’ transitioning into our school is a process that begins early in the year and continues well into the fist term of their schooling.

Day 1 of Secondary School, January 30 2023: The first day of the school year will involve our new year 7 students and returning year 12 students. Students will begin their Welcome Week activities and parents will be invited to a Parents Morning Tea to meet key staff and other parents.

‘Welcome Week’, January 30 – February 3: Year 7 students will spend this week getting to know their peers, teachers and their new school. A range of activities, including the ‘Year 7 Big Day In’, Clubs and Activities Expo and induction sessions will be held throughout this week. Students will begin regular scheduled lessons in week 2.

Parent Acquaintance Evening, Week 3 (Date TBC): Our Parent Acquaintance Evening is an opportunity for parents to meet key staff, receive important information and spend some time with their child’s Homegroup teacher.
