We had a fantastic day with Year 6 into 7 students on Friday 9 December. While at Brighton Secondary School students:
- learnt which homegroup they were a part of
- connected with / learnt who their 2023 Homegroup teacher is
- participated in get-to-know activities and a school tour with our peer leaders
- gathered in the Concert Hall for a house culture assembly and learnt the meaning and story behind our six houses
- worked collaboratively to design our 2023 house banners
- spent break times making new connections and exploring the school
- created a display for their home group space to establish ownership ready for the 2023 school year
- learnt about the student leadership opportunities available to them in 2023 in both the House Captain and Student Wellbeing Leader positions
