Write a Book in a Day

News & Events 1/06/2023

A fun, creative challenge that sees budding writers and illustrators create a book in just one day!

Write a Book in a Day is an extra-curricular activity and national competition. In teams of 5 to 6, students collaborate to plan, write, edit and illustrate their own book in just 12 hours, on Thursday 17 August.

All books are then judged by a panel of teachers, and as a school, we enter the top 5 submissions into the national competition. Completed books are shared with hospitals across Australia and all funds raised support The Kids’ Cancer Project, funding childhood cancer research.

All students who attended the info session and joined a team are reminded that consent forms and payment are due Friday 4 August.
