You are invited to attend the upcoming ThinkUknow Information session on Wednesday 2 April.
Developed by the Australian Federal Police and presented by representatives of SAPOL and an industry volunteer, the presentation addresses topics including self-generated child abuse material, online grooming, sexual extortion, and importantly encourages help seeking behaviour.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to learn more about young people and the online environment, and how you can help them to be safe and responsible users of technology.
Details of the Information Session:
Date: Wednesday 2 April
Time: 6:00pm – 7:30pm (60 minute presentation time, with 30 minutes allocated for discussion and questions)
Location: Brighton Secondary School Theatre
Please note that due to the content covered and discussed, the presentation is not suitable for younger audience members.
If you attended a ThinkUKnow presentation in 2024, there is no need to attend the 2025 session, as a lot of the information will be repeated.
ThinkUKnow Australia is an evidence-based education program delivered nationally to prevent online child sexual exploitation.
