Improved Sustainability – New Waste Management
Along with most other schools in South Australia, Brighton Secondary School has made the transition to a new waste management system where our waste is separated into 4 streams:
- Blue (Paper & Cardboard)
- Green (Organics)
- Yellow (Recycling)
- Red (Waste)
Signage is available around the school to help students choose the right bin and reminder information was also presented to staff and students during Week 1 of Term 4.
We ask that parents help re-in force choosing the right bin at home. Resources and more information for families is available at: https://www.whichbin.sa.gov.au/
