House Activities

News & Events 24/01/2023

Term 1 is an excellent opportunity for students to get involved, get active, and have fun in a number of activities.

Swimming Carnival: Week 2 – Thursday 9 February (opt-in event)

Our first event is the Swimming Carnival, held at the SA Aquatic and Leisure Centre. All students are invited to come along and swim in traditional events (such as freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, and butterfly), but also the fun team events (such as noodle relay, surfboard relay, kick-board collection relay, and ‘late for school’ relay). It’s a great day for everyone!

Students must collect a consent form and return it to Students Services by COB on Monday 6 February.

Year 7 Challenge Cup: Week 5 – Monday 27 February

Year 8 Challenge Cup: Week 5 – Tuesday 28 February

Challenge Cup is a special event for our year 7 and 8 students. Students spend the day with their home group and take part in a series of challenges, and learning and building confidence in track and field events in preparation for Sports Day. Throughout the day students will challenge themselves, each other, and others Houses to see who is the ultimate home group!

Sports Day: Week 8 – Friday 24 March

Sports Day is our whole-school event for everyone to get involved and build House spirit. Whether is it competing in track and field events, having fun with friends in the novelty events, playing a game of speed-chess, or getting involved in our sideshow laneway, there is plenty to do!  Who will be our Sports Day champions for 2023?
