| Notice of Success | A message and record on Daymap shared with students and parents when a student has shown personal growth or progress. |
| ASPIRE Awards | Awarded by home group teachers at our termly house assemblies, to recognise one student in each home group who has consistently demonstrated our school values or represented themselves or our school to a very high level. |
| Individual Awards | Presented at our house assemblies for achievements including school, state and national sporting event participation and involvement in extra-curricular activities. |
End of year acknowledgements
Our ASPIRE Assembly is held in Term 4 and is an opportunity to celebrate a range of personal and shared successes, introduce our student leaders for the following year and to announce the winners of the Academic, Sports, Co-curricular and Overall House Shields.
Our Valedictory and Presentation Evening acknowledges and celebrates the accomplishments of our Year 12 graduating class. The evening provides an opportunity for families, friends, and staff to celebrate and reflect on the journey the graduating class have taken as members of the Brighton Secondary School community.
At the event we recognise recipients of subject excellence and endeavour awards, acknowledge service to various programs within the school and present a range of long-standing awards. These awards are a testament to the diverse talents and contributions of our students and are an important part of the evening’s celebration.
