As the school year begins, it’s crucial to keep road safety top of mind. Here’s how we can all help make our roads safer for students:
Always follow the reduced speed limit and drive cautiously in and around school zones.
Watch for traffic wardens and students crossing the road.
Students should wear a helmet when riding a scooter, bike or skateboard.
Avoid parking in restricted areas and follow all parking regulations set out by the City of Holdfast Bay.
Stay alert during drop-off and pick-up times and keep an eye out for students.
Talk to your student about road safety.
