The 2024 NAPLAN testing window is from 13-25 March. During this time, Year 7 and 9 students will participate in four online assessments that aim to check how well they are learning the essential skills of reading, writing and numeracy.
Year 7 and Year 9 students will sit these tests across the NAPLAN period in classrooms in Tarni Warra, using their own device. Staff will support students to download the required software and familiarise themselves with the test platform and questions before the test window begins.
Students will need to ensure they have a pen, pencil and eraser as well as a set of wired headphones that can connect to their computer, if possible. Some headphones will be available for students to borrow. Organising for their laptop to be fully charged at the start of the school day will help student’s participate as smoothly as possible in each assessment.
