Stella Studart - Brighton Secondary School International Student

The big areas that Brighton Secondary School has, there is a lot of green. I like the way that the teachers treat the students. The friendly people that I met there. Brighton Secondary School is very close to the beach… very good in Summer.

What are your favourite subjects and why?
ESL (English as a Second Language) – I have learned more about different cultures and I don’t have to be shy to speak English because the students in ESL class don’t have perfect English.

Chemistry and Physics – I love them because I can always try and prove something.

If you were to encourage other international students to study at Brighton Secondary School what would you say to them?
I would say that they have to enjoy, they have to try to make friends. I would say that they don’t need to worry about anything because you actually feel that Brighton Secondary School is like a big family.

How do you find your teachers and support staff?
They make you do your homework, they teach you and they are fun. They respect us, but we need to respect them as well.

What is different about Brighton Secondary School?
We are friend with the teachers. The school receives you very well.
