Student Expectations

It is expected that all successful students for the Special Music course will:

• intend to study up to S.S.A.B.S.A. Stage 2 (Year 12)
• participate in the school's choral and instrumental ensembles
• give full commitment to the total school curriculum
• attend extra-curricular rehearsals and performances (lunch hour, after school, weekend) as required
• give priority to school activities where a conflict with outside activities occurs
• wear correct uniform for all performances*

* A list of uniform requirements will be given to all students at the beginning of each academic year.

However, the following are essential:

Note:

• A school blazer will be required by all students in Senior ensembles.
• Senior girls will require a special uniform for Concert Choir which will be provided by the school.
• Students in the Stage Band will require black trousers.
