Academic Performance
Brighton Secondary School students and staff are proud to maintain an enviable record of on-going outstanding academic performance.
This graph shows the achievement grades of the Brighton Secondary School students compared to the percentage of grades achieved across the state. B.S.S student results are better than state average in both A's and B's.

This graph shows the achievement scores of B.S.S students compared to the state average. Students achieve a score between 0 and 20 for each subject. As reflected in the graph, B.S.S is significantly higher than the state average for those students who achieve more than thirteen for each subject. B.S.S students score particularly well in the range 17 - 20.

Students who wish to attend university are given a percentile ranking out of 100 known as Tertiary Entrance Ranking (TER). This graph shows the percentage of students at Brighton who achieve more than 95, more than 90 and so on. 5% of students in the state have a TER greater 95. Brighton's percentage was 10.9%.
